Make reservations at the ever-elegant Ke-uH which now boasts a fresh renovation and spirit. The Japanese-inspired restaurant was recreated by Italian design group Cristiano Gatto Design, and hallmarks of the design include serenity and privacy, mingled with American sophistication and authentic Japanese aesthetics.
The transformation includes vibrant red drapes, bestowing an homage to traditional Japanese color, along with a strategically placed bonsai tree anchored in the main dining room for tranquility. Innovative lighting that can easily be adjusted to match the mood or an event is another key factor: during the day, light flows through the large windows, creating a serene ambiance for breakfast; while at night, dimmable lights cast a soft, intimate glow that encourages a peaceful dinner. Though, with views of the Atlantic Ocean, you may want to choose to dine at a table on the outdoor terrace.
The lounge area has also been transformed into a secluded haven for romance, with drapery for privacy and a soft, piano-bar ambiance. What does remain the same is the chefs’ dedication to showcasing personal recipes, making everything from the ponzu sauce to aioli sauce in house. Plates are tapas-style and meant to be shared. In addition to sushi with a twist and surprise hits like the salmon pizza, dive into baby back ribs, sliders, pork belly, along with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
